Kings Manor Bed & Breakfast
After a recent stay at a local Bed & Breakfast, I approached the proprietor about the lack of online reservations on their website. I built a new site using WordPress and EasyReservations plugin (customized), as well as custom installations of the following plugins:
- Contact Form 7
- Google Maps embed
- Lightbox Plus
- Widget Logic
- WP Wunderground Weather Widget
I intend to approach other B&B’s to offer similar WordPress sites.

As a full-time freelance web developer, I have had little time over the years to focus on a good website of my own! Last year I implemented a WordPress blog for a client and though it might be a good solution for me. I installed WordPress on my web server and applied a simple template to it. I had great plans to include my resume` and a complete online portfolio on my new WordPress site. Since then I have made numerous changes to the clients installation, and none to my own. I hope with this latest implementation, I will finally have a usable site of my own!
I have started this site with a pre-designed template and have been modifying the theme steadily as I am adding content and posts. This template was very close to satisfying all my needs in displaying a resume` and portfolio. Over time I will continue to customize the theme to match my content. I have an idea to use private posts and comments to track projects. It would require some interaction from the client, but I think it could be well-worth the extra effort to keep projects organized.
Manhattan Spine & Pain Medicine
Another collaboration with WordPower Communications and Jessica Rosengard Designs. In May of 2011 I was contracted to develop a new website for Manhattan Spine & Pain medicine. The website had unique layout challenges as most of the content pages have an off-site Flash video as the main content, and page copy in a scrolling left-hand column.
This is a large site (80+ pages) and is built using Php, XHTML and CSS 2.0+

Northwest Neurosurgery Institute
In collaboration with WordPower Communications and Jessica Rosengard Designs. In April of 2011 I was contracted to develop a new website for Dr. Mina Foroohar and the Northwest Neurosurgery Institute. A nice clean design by Jessica Rosengard and rich content from Wordpower Communications come together to create a very nice site.
